Psalm 34:3 (NKJV) “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.”
To magnify = to make LARGER, to see at a GREATER scale, to INCREASE the importance or effect…”
This is exactly what we must learn to do corporately and individually. If we want to see greater realms of God’s glory and goodness in us and through us, then we must make magnifying the Lord a lifestyle and not just something we do (singing songs, etc) only when we gather together at a local church. When we magnify the Lord in the midst of our trials, we begin to see the reality of His greatness and goodness and that reality begins to overshadow whatever we are going through. Our freedom and breakthrough will be realized once we begin to magnify the Lord for who He is and not for what He can provide. Magnifying the Lord must be a lifestyle; which will lead us to greater measures of revelation of who He is.
I pray that we magnify the Lord, not as a religious duty or service, but as a daily lifestyle. When we transition from duty to lifestyle, that will be the day we begin to go from “faith to fath and glory to glory,” simply because we are able to see the greatness of who He is as we MAGNIFY HIM!
