Victor P. Rodriguez was born in Hoboken, New Jersey. Both of his parents migrated from Puerto Rico in the early 1960’s where they resided in the Bronx, N.Y. After living in New York for several years, his father brought his wife to the United States and moved to Hoboken, New Jersey where they settled and raised their three sons, Mario, Eric, and Victor being the youngest of the three. Victor does have a stepbrother, Mario Rodriguez from his father’s side; long story… (LOL)
In 1986, Victor entered a Teen Challenge Rehabilitation program in Bayamon Puerto Rico. After successfully completing phase 1 in Puerto Rico and phase 2 in Rehrersburg, PA., he graduated in 1988 from Teen Challenge. Leaders from Teen Challenge recognized the leadership skills he possessed and encouraged him to further his Biblical studies. He was recommended to Latin American Bible Institute in San Antonio, Texas, where he met his beautiful wife Janie. In 1990 they joined their hearts in marriage and soon after they had their daughter, Gladys Joy Rodriguez. Victor and Janie have been married for 22 years and currently live in San Antonio, Texas where their Son Jason and daughter Gladys reside with their spouses and children. Victor and Janie are proud grandparents of four beautiful grandchildren.
Victor has always had a hunger for the raw presence of God and a strong desire to search the Scriptures. Therefore; he enrolled at International Bible College and graduated in 1996 with a 4-year degree in Theological Studies, and a minor in Biblical Counseling. Victor has some Master degree credits in Leadership from Luther Rice University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. He is also currently enrolled in Bethel’s Leadership Program based out of Redding, CA. Victor’s desire is to empower every believer by assisting them to come to the right conclusion in four areas; 1. Who is God? 2. Who are we? 3. What have we been given?” And 4. “What are we to do with it?”
Victor and Janie Rodriguez were ordained as Senior Leaders of King of Glory of San Antonio in 2007 where they currently serve together.
